Three new studies link exposure to pesticides in the womb to lower IQ scores in children when they reach school age.

In a nutshell, a scientist compares these findings to those related to exposure of children to lead done in the 1980's.

If this isn't a good enough reason for you to consider refraining from using pesticides at all times and/or from consuming foods grown using pesticides, at the very least, inform women who you know are pregnant to research for themselves and consider organic or pesticide-free fruits and vegetables during the term of their pregnancy.
