There can be a wait during prime times (a good indicator that locals know it is the place to be), but you will find the wait worthwhile. Among our favourites when we dine at Akira are: Enoki Mushroom Beef Roll, Seaweed and Kani salads, Miso and Seafood soups, Salmon & White Tuna Sashimi, and you definitely cannot go wrong with their Golden Dragon, Dynamite, Spider, or any of their rolls. Their filling to rice ratio is high, and their presentation just accentuated a good meal.

Even Alec, our seven year old son, considers Akira one of his favorite dining destinations. Over the years, we have introduced Akira to visitors, friends and members of our family.
